Clyde Clyde is the namesake and visionary for clydeside productions. He hails from Portree, Isle of Skye, where he met Maria and David and decided to join them on their travels through Scotland and beyond in the summer of 2002. Clyde got his name from the river that flows through Glasgow; however it was not until the name clydeside had been thought up by the team in his honor and in reference to the image of him riding in a sidecar, that everyone realized this term existed as a reference to the banks of the river Clyde. And what a lucky coincidence, since we all have a special fondness for that bit of turf. Clyde supplies inspiration, comic relief, and discipline when necessary, occasionally firing one or all of us, only to hire us back five minutes later. He's quite a sheep. Maria Mastroyannis Maria is an actor, director & producer for clydeside productions. Her first directorial project "Lily, Texas", in which she plays Lily, is currently in production. She has acted in numerous films, TV and theater productions in California and Germany. She has trained in film acting, improvisational acting, physical theater and dance and has produced a number of her own multi-media theater productions. For details on projects and training please refer to the resume on the home page. Maria studied Architecture at UC Berkeley and at Universität Stuttgart. She has lived in San Francisco, Berkeley, Stuttgart, Lübeck, Oakland and Los Angeles. David Lawrence Zaft David is a producer, writer and director of photography for clydeside productions. He has studied Literature and Social Science at the University of Michigan, and Public Policy and Law at UC Berkeley. He currently holds a clerkship at the US Federal District Court in Los Angeles. He is also an expert on cheese and a lover of good food and cooking. He has done camera work for "Lily, Texas" (clydeside productions) and for the multi-media physical theater piece "Alter Ego" (Mastroyannis/Prewitt Productions). David has lived in Detroit, Ann Arbor, San Francisco, Oakland, and Los Angeles. Allan Ng Allan is the web producer and marketing consultant for clydeside productions. He studied Economics and Philosophy at Columbia University and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. He has worked as a brand consultant for Bright Sun, worked in the marketing departments of several Internet startups, and is currently Advertising Manager for PG&E in San Francisco. He is a founding member of Zered, a web design and production company. Allan is a fabulous cook and an aspiring poker champion. He grew up in Vancouver, and has lived in New York and San Francisco.
