Bio
Maria Mastroyannis has worked in TV and film and has performed on stage for many years. She
has worked with independent directors Rob Nilsson and Trinh T. Minh-Ha of
San Francisco on a number of films, most recently "Attitude" and "Night
Passage", which have been presented in festivals around the country and
abroad. Maria has staged two of her own physical theater productions, drawing on her background as actor and dancer, and is an active member of two LA based theater companies, The New American Theatre, and Mutineer Theatre Company. She is a Greek-German-American and is
bilingual, having grown up in California and Germany.
